Key stages of our conveyancing services

Purchase of property
  • Ensuring that you acquire a good marketable property free from any adverse interests and/ onerous obligations or restrictions. Searches and enquiries are carried out to achieve this.
  • Negotiating and approving your contract with the seller's solicitors.
  • Dealing where necessary on your behalf with the mortgage lender and acting for your lender to make sure it's interest is properly protected and perfected.
  • If appropriate, registering your lenders' mortgage at the land registry and sending a copy of the title deeds to you once your purchase is completed.
  • You will not get the deeds of the property as they are now stored electronically at HM Land Registry. You may however be able to keep old title deeds which are no longer needed for conveyancing but which might be of interest to you.
